4. Wildlife Sightings
Wildlife sightings, bird sightings, animal behaviour and photographic opportunities are naturally unpredictable.
We do not guarantee sightings of any particular animal, bird or species.
The availability and quality of sightings may depend on weather, animal behaviour, habitat conditions, forest regulations, safari routes and other factors beyond our control.
Failure to see a particular species does not constitute grounds for a refund.
5. Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary when reasonably necessary due to:

8. Health, Fitness and Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, delays, baggage/equipment loss and other relevant risks.
Untamed Nature Expeditions is not a substitute for travel or medical insurance.
9. Photography Equipment
Participants are responsible for their own cameras, lenses, drones, computers, memory cards and other equipment unless otherwise specifically agreed.
Participants must comply with all applicable restrictions relating to photography, drones and wildlife areas.
10. Personal Belongings
We recommend that participants take reasonable precautions with valuables and photography equipment.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except to the extent required by applicable law.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

However, itineraries, prices, availability and other details may change.
The final confirmed itinerary and booking communication will prevail where there is a difference between website information and confirmed booking information.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or restrict any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to applicable Indian law and the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the place of business of Untamed Nature Expeditions, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to photography tours, wildlife expeditions, workshops and other travel experiences booked through Untamed Nature Expeditions.
Because our tours often involve advance commitments to accommodation providers, safari operators, permits, transportation and other suppliers, cancellation charges may apply.
1. Booking Amount
A booking is confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received.
The applicable booking amount will be mentioned on the relevant tour page or booking communication.
2. Cancellation by the Participant
Unless a different cancellation schedule is specifically mentioned for a particular tour, the following policy applies:
More than 60 days before departure: 75% of the amount paid will be refunded.: 25% will be retained towards administrative and non-recoverable booking expenses.
31–60 days before departure: 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
15–30 days before departure : 25% of the amount paid will be refunded.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will normally be provided.
This is because significant portions of the tour may already have been committed to third-party suppliers.

Certain expenses may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date, including where applicable:

A refund of the recoverable amount paid for the cancelled service.
Our liability will be limited to the amount actually paid to us for the affected booking, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
5. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
If a tour cannot proceed because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, wildlife/forest department restrictions, political disturbances, road closures or other unforeseen circumstances, the normal cancellation policy may not apply.
In such situations, we will make reasonable efforts to:

Refund amounts that are actually recoverable from third-party suppliers.
6. Change of Participant
If a participant cannot travel and wishes to transfer the booking to another person, such transfer may be permitted subject to:

7. No Refund for Missed Activities

8. Wildlife Sightings
Wildlife and bird sightings cannot be guaranteed.
No refund will be provided because a particular species, animal, bird or photographic opportunity was not encountered.
9. Weather and Natural Conditions
Weather and natural conditions may affect wildlife movement, photography opportunities and itinerary schedules.
Such circumstances do not automatically qualify for a refund.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method.
The time taken for the refund to appear in the participant’s account may depend on the payment gateway and banking institution.
11. How to Request a Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email or through the contact details provided on our website.
The cancellation date will normally be considered the date on which the written cancellation request is received by us.
12. Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
Any exception to this policy is at the discretion of Untamed Nature Expeditions and does not create a precedent for future bookings.
